At 8:45 am, the meeting point is at the boarding point – Exploreaza Delta Dunarii Pontoon – Hotel Delta Area.
At 9:00 am, departure from Tulcea with the boat on the route.
At 12:45 pm, return to the boarding point in Tulcea.

The departure for the Mila 23 – Danube Delta excursion is from the Tulcea Port – Delta Hotel Area at 09:00. To complete the payments (if this has not been done) and to be informed about the boat with which you will go to Mila 23, you are expected at 08:30 – 08:45.

Route Number 2 - Mile 23
The departure for the Tulcea – Mila 23 Delta Dunarii excursion is from the Tulcea Port – Exploreaza Delta Dunarii pontoon, near the Delta Hotel, where we descend on the Tulcea branch until the entrance gate to the Danube Delta – channel 36. Here, we turn right into the Sireasa creek, a place with diverse fauna and flora specific to the Danube Delta, such as wild grapes, cormorants, otters, egrets, swans, wild ducks, herons, and others.
We continue our journey on the Sontea creek, passing by the famous fishermen’s platform “La scaunele” and crossing the Fortuna Lake, a beautiful and exotic place rich in wildlife, where we hope to find the famous pelicans. Next, we reach the Vacaru and Ligheanca lakes, well-known for their abundance of water lilies and a large number of swans. We arrive at Mila 23 (the birthplace of the famous champion Ivan Patzaichin), located right in the middle of the Danube Delta, where we can visit the village of Mila 23 and enjoy a fish meal (the renowned Lipovan fish soup, as well as fried fish with polenta and garlic sauce).
We return through channel 22 and the Sulina branch, where we can see the villages of Maliuc, Vulturul, and Partizani.
