08:45 – Presence is required at the boarding point – Exploreaza Delta Dunarii Pontoon – Delta Hotel area.
09:00 – Departure from Tulcea on the vessel’s route.
10:45 – Return to the boarding point in Tulcea.

The departure for the Delta Dunarii bird colony trip is at 9:00 am from the Tulcea Avalos Port. In order to complete the payments (if this has not already been done) and to inform you about the boat that will take you to the bird colony, you are expected to arrive at 8:30-8:45 am.

The route - bird colony
The departure takes place from the Tulcea Port at the pontoon “Explore the Danube Delta“. We sail down the Tulcea arm until we reach the intersection with “Canalul 36” – the entrance gate into the Danube Delta. We continue on Canalul 36 and turn left onto “Canalul Trofilea”, where we can already observe the specific fauna and flora of the Danube Delta. If the water level allows us, we will enter the Cotete and Purcelu lakes, where we will find a colony of cormorants and other typical birds of the Danube Delta, such as mallards, swans, shovelers, ibises, geese, and with a little luck, even pelicans and the majestic white-tailed eagle. We return via “Garla Sireasa”, Canalul 36, and back to the “Explore the Danube Delta” port.
